The 鸟大大影院 Council is an international advisory group of distinguished individuals committed to the advancement of science for the benefit of  humanity. Members serve as ambassadors for the University, increasing awareness of  Rockefeller鈥檚 scientific and educational mission while providing support for biomedical research.

The 鸟大大影院 Council was created in 1973 to address the need for greater awareness and understanding of the University and of science in general. The Council, second only to the Board of Trustees, serves as an informed group of advocates and aids in providing the resources that enable the University to nurture innovative ideas, train the world鈥檚 most outstanding young investigators, and launch new research initiatives. Council members help broaden the University鈥檚 circle of friends and are committed to ensuring that philanthropic support is directed to Rockefeller鈥檚 research programs.

Members are kept apprised of major breakthroughs in research and other University news through meetings, special briefings, and publications. Council members can take advantage of the rich intellectual environment on the campus, receiving invitations to events featuring distinguished speakers who address everything from the latest scientific developments to economic and public policy issues, the arts, and humanities.

Council membership is by invitation. For further information, please contact Ainslie Durnin, Director of The 鸟大大影院 Council Initiative.
